Is this piece worked in water colors as well?

Would you happen to have a higher resolution of this one?

It looks stunning to my eyes, but also teases me since I can’t look at the fine details. ;)

Yes, the iris painting was painted in watercolor. (Really, every painting posted in my blog is painted in watercolor unless specified otherwise.) :)

I do have a higher resolution version of that painting, but I am hesitant to post the full image on the internet, so I posted a portion of it for you. There are so many people that copy and rip off images and artists online — it’s too bad.

That is truly one of the most beautiful watercolored iris I have ever seen. You have a wonderful touch and I can tell you love flowers. The iris is one of my favorite flowers.

Hi Hi, Tom, & Clara – Thank you! :D

I am working on a new one at the moment. I really love being able to squeeze some vibrant florals into the mix of wildlife paintings. :D The latest iris piece should be done fairly soon…for a show this summer… :D
