I just have to say that your art is amazing.
The sketches capture the “spark” in the animals, making them seem alive.

  11. Rebecca says:

    Thank you,

@Mikayla – I’m glad it had such an impact for you. :)
@Deen – I’m glad you like it. It’s drawn on illustration board with graphite.
@Saad – Thanks. I don’t teach classes or workshops right now, bit there are many books and articles online that may help. It’s a lot of practice and patience in your drawing.
@Liz – Thank you. I studied with Terry Isaac years ago… He taught his students to portray the ‘magical moments’ that you see in nature. That concept was very striking for me…and what I try to accomplish in my work now. :D

wow,…..i have drawn like that before, but lostnit somehow can never do it,but i draw full size animals, much diffrently though than normal.I study the animal carefully then draw the skeleton, then layer over it with muscle, then skin and fur or watever is there, and i have actually sold for a good bit,u should look into that it can get u quite a bit of extra money,

PS:DO NOT COLOR IT AT ALL
it looks so dumb when in color

Hi Patrick, Thanks :) That is very interesting. …I haven’t gone about it quite that way before. I’ll keep it in mind. I have my galleries, shows, and clients keeping me very occupied at the moment. :) Thanks for stopping by and leaving a note.

Wow, I love absolutely your works! I seem to have noticed that a lot of wildlife artists prefer acrylic or oils but now I know water color can be just as effective in depicting wildlife realistically! I draw and dabble little bit and my favorite subjects are big cats. Here are a couple of my drawing and a water color heehee :).

The composition of the image is an important element in producing an interesting work of artistic merit. The artist plans the placement of elements in the art in order to communicate ideas and feelings with the viewer. The composition can determine the focus of the art, and result in a harmonious whole that is aesthetically appealing and stimulating.

  20. Mark says:

I'd love to see the finished watercolor if you have it photographed.

    Keep up the good work.

    Dear Rebecca,

I honestly love your arts of wildlife. I do a little bit of art. But I always find it difficulty to draw the hairs of animals. When I see your arts my heart beats very fast. So beautiful and perfect those arts and I pray to god to give me the hands like yours.

    1. I would like to know — how to draw hairs of animals?
    2. I would like to see arts of fighting animals and birds.

    Regards
