Peaches & Creme – Completed Work

Peaches & Creme – Iris, 4.75in x 4.625in, watercolor on board, ©Rebecca Latham

This is the final scan for the recent Iris painting I’ve been working on.  It was a bit of a challenge getting the opalescent glow of sunlight through the petals, but I’m pleased with the result.

Painting this piece has made me a little more eager to see the new flowers unfold this spring…

Hi Rebecca, I have been looking for your original painting of Sunlit Irises that was used for the pattern of the counted cross stitch by Dyan Allaire. It is advertised in The Stitchery on page 13. Was wondering if the painting like the cross stitch is for sale. Love you artistry ! Betty Furtwengler, PhD.

I’m sorry, but that painting is in a private collection and no longer available. I plan to be painting more irises in the future.
