Untitled Rabbit work-in-progress, 5" x 7", sepia watercolor on board, ©Rebecca LathamI was asked to paint a few rabbit pieces recently.. so, I thought I would post some progress of these little paintings featuring some of the backyard visitors.  All of these pieces are 5″x7″.

I am looking forward to how the background will progress.. I am arranging the settings as I go somewhat, so the look of the pebbles, moss, and other natural debris is a bit of an adventure.. ;)

I am a fan of your art. Mainly because I wish to draw and paint like you someday.
I do works that are more abstract in nature. I admire your work. You pay attention to details.

    Rebecca,

I love your paintings and enjoyed your video of painting a couger. Would it be possible for you to do a video of the complete
drawing and painting. Or, could you find time to answer the following: All the detailed lines you put in your drawings, are they pencil and what type of pencil do you use? Do all the lines remain and you just paint over them? I am so amazed at how you
accomplish such realistic pictures with watercolor.

What is the largest size you would attempt to do when adding so much detail?

Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Grateful for any information you can give.

    Gratefully,

    Janet
