This is one of the paintings in my studio that has been keeping me occupied lately…one of many, actually. The full painting is 30×40 inches (Watercolor on board, in miniature) of 2 grizzly bears in a disagreement ;). The photo posted here is slightly skewed and a detail section shot of the larger piece..I will get a nicer shot posted of the final painting when it is ready.
I’ve been burning the midnight oil to complete it and several others for the exhibition opening for my family at Moosehorn Galleries in Paradise Valley, Montana. I have a fairly large body of work prepared and am really looking forward to getting out of the studio and into nature for a while. :D
(I do have a rather tight schedule however… So in spite of getting away for a bit of adventure, I will certainly be dragging my easel and paints along for the ride. …possibly transform vehicle to studio en route…we shall see… :D )
This is so beautiful, Rebecca!! I wish you and your family the best at Moose Horn. Give everyone a big hug for me there and really enjoy yourselves. I know Sam and Kathy think the world of you!! -Julie
Hi Julie! — thanks so much! We will. Sam, Kathy, Kelli, and the rest of the crew over at Moosehorn are a pretty fabulous bunch of people. :) We're really looking forward to going out there..

Yep. It's not one of those peaceful and tranquil sort of things.. ;) ..but I like to mix things up a bit.
