Some of my readers may have seen this piece a little earlier, but for those that haven’t.. this is a work in progress of a raven on deadfall, sepia stage. \u00a0It’s a bit larger than I’ve been painting recently – should finish as a 12″ x 24″.<\/p>\n

I saw the raven during one of my visits out West in Montana<\/a>. \u00a0The arrangement of sun-bleached wood that he is perched on will be very interesting to paint & I believe contrasts well in texture with the raven’s feathers.<\/p>\n
