I just received notice that the three paintings that I sent to the "16th International Miniature Art Show" at the Seaside Art Gallery in Nags Head, North Carolina were juried into the exhibition. The Outer Banks gallery was founded in 1961 (the barrier islands of North Carolina). A reception for the show will be held at the gallery on May 26th from 7-9pm.<\/p>\n

The gallery posts the entire show online (and will remain online for a full year) – the only miniature show of this type that does this, that I am aware of. (artwork featured in the show is still being added – the online exhibit will be complete by May 4th) The show usually exhibits over 600 works of art by artists from around the world. The miniature show will run May 4, 2007 – June 02, 2007. Visit the the event online by following this link<\/a>. :D My Mom, Karen, and sister, Bonnie, also have paintings in the exhibition.<\/p>\n

This painting is one of my new miniature pieces I made for the show that pre-sold before the exhibition opened – "A Little Unsteady – Whitetail Fawn". (My recent paintings "Ruby Throated Hummingbird"<\/a> and "Marsh Evening – Snowy Egret" also found new homes during the pre-sale.) \"Rebecca<\/p>\n
