<\/a><\/div>\n<\/a> Amazing day \u2013 I went to the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Powwow. <\/span>Hundreds of beautiful bustles and jingle dresses for the dancing competitions \u2013 tribes beating the large drums together and singing for the vocal competitions. <\/span><\/p>\n Everything was very impressive. :D <\/span>(I didn\u2019t, however, get the chance to go to the food booths and check out the fried flat bread and Indian tacos…I heard they were good. <\/span>But I can\u2019t complain \u2013 the dinner I had was superb. :) )<\/p>\n As I mentioned earlier here on the blog, I have some Native American heritage. <\/span>Years ago my Mom was a part of a tribe and danced in the powwow. <\/span>One of my artist friends, who is Apache, has been helpful and aided my interests as well.<\/p>\n I had so much fun…I think I will have to see another one soon. :D<\/p>\n \n <\/mce><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Amazing day \u2013 I went to the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Powwow.
