This is a little miniature I’m working on as well. It’s a chipmunk that I saw while I was out in Wyoming this fall. There were two of them that were scavenging around a park area. They were fairly used to being around humans, so they did come up fairly close – was very interesting to watch them. (My family had a hard time dragging me away from them… :? )
Can I purchase the Chipmunk
Oh My God!. You are amazing You are now my new idol. THAT is what I want to put on my canvas. you’re stuff. Seriously. I have to say goodbye to Bob Ross now. I’ll be looking for EVERYTHING i can find on YOU! I know you are too young to know who he was. But, ID dounload his stuff and we’d {rather ,I’d be painting alone }..painting “happy little bushes”…everywhere..lol
I’m honestly looking forward to hearing back from you ..whenever u get round to this.. but, do you have any “How to DO THAT” books out..where I can learn from you..Im Gail

Hi Patty. Yes, if you like. (sent you a PM…)
Hi Gail – thank you very, very much. :D I’m really glad you’re inspired. You’re very sweet. Yes, Bob Ross has started a lot of artists in painting. I have been so fortunate to have had so many amazing people in my life that have inspired me – it makes all of the difference.
Sorry, but right now I don’t have a ‘how to’ book. But I do post things on the blog here, and have given comments to other visitors that you might find interesting.
My teacher that really inspired me (…besides my Mom… ;) ) is Carl Brenders. He is an artist from Belgium that I had the wonderful opportunity to study with a number of years ago who taught me to paint much of what I use today. (…a great person, too..)
Carl does have some books available that are step-by-step and some that just feature his work – you might look in Amazon for his name and find them if you like.

Your chipmunk is very beautiful. We have about 20 that live in our woodpile. I can relate to you not wanting to leave them! The are so fun and free.
Thank you, Renne’! :D
Oh, they must be wonderful to watch! I saw so many of them staying out west in Montana & Wyoming…even the little ones (which are extra cute… :D ).
