Some friends are coming with us tomorrow who are going to help me chase down some references on the beach… :D lol!

Great photos. When I saw the first Egret photo … I thought it was a painting you had completed. I love your work and look forward to visiting your site to see whats new. As you suggested to Jim in the miniature forum, layering with gloss medium… I have begun a painting and am giving this a try. LaVerne

Hi La Verne – Thank you. Glad you liked the tip. :D It is a lot like what Joan Willies discusses in her book about miniature painting techniques in oils. We had a great time seeing all of the wildlife – I have to get back to my easel now and paint something… ;)
