I love stopping by busy ponds where Great Blue Heron, Egret, and various other shore birds and waterfowl are looking for snacks.. I could (and have :) ) made a seat along the water’s edge for most of the day just to watch them. This is a small painting that reminded me of one of those days..
A friend shared your Great Blue Heron painting with me via Facebook. My husband and I live on a lake and love seeing great blue herons land near our home to fish. Do you have print of this piece or only the original watercolor? It is absolutely beautiful!
