I was happy to hear that this painting received the 2007 Cider Painters of America "Animal Award" at their Annual International Miniature Art Exhibition. 🙂  Thanks to CPA for hosting this excellent exhibition! The opening Reception was held on Nov. 11th and the Exhibit runs through Nov. 24th 2007.

Decoys and Wildlife Show 2007

Here is our recent showing at Decoys & Wildlife Gallery in Frenchtown, NJ. With over thirty paintings, this was the largest amount of our originals that we ever had at one place. The show was held on the last weekend in October.

As part of the show, the artists we were to go to a Halloween party and no one was allowed in without a costume.  My family and I don’t typically do anything for Halloween, so going to a party in costume was a bit of a new experience for me.  😀

A Winter Guest……

I thought that I would share a photo of this (not so) little guy. 😀 This is a toad that I took care of over the winter. Before setting him/her free, I snapped a few references for the next time I decide to paint a toad. 😀

Good News From Mariposa!

Much to my surprise "Late Summers Gold" was awarded "Best of Show" at the Miniatures in Mariposa show in California. 😀 It’s such a honor! 😀

Thanks so much to the Northern California Society of Art in Miniatures and the Sierra Artists Gallery for hosting this superb show! 😀

Miniature Painting "Late Summers Gold - Sunflower" by Bonnie Latham

My miniature painting "Late Summers Gold" of a sunflower will be on exhibit at the "Miniatures in Mariposa" miniature show. This is the first miniature show I have entered in a while — so I’m very excited about this exhibit. 😀

The painting is 2-3/4 in. x 2-3/4 in. The exhibit will be held at the Sierra Artists Gallery in Mariposa, California from February 27th to the 1st of  April.  The exhibition is sponsored by the Northern California Society of Arts in Miniatures and Sierra Artists Gallery.  😀
