Here is a 1/6th miniature sketch of a leopard that I’ve completed.
Here is a step by step of a recent miniature painting that I was commissioned to paint of a canadian goose. This painting is 3 1/2 inches x 4 1/2 inches.
Here I am presenting “Majestic Passage” to Mike of Minnesota Ducks Unlimited.
My mom, Karen, was the 2005 Minnesota Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year featuring her painting of a pair of ring-neck ducks. Rebeccas painting of a canadian goose was chosen for the 2006 Minnesota Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year. This year I am honored to have been chosen as the 2007 Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year. I am looking forward to be working with Ducks Unlimited in the following year.
I am happy to announce that one of my new paintings "Into the Blue" has been accepted in the 2006 Arts for the Parks Mini 100!
One of the nice things about traveling with your art for shows/events is that often there are some amazing places nearby. A recent trip to Estes Park, CO for the Arts for the Parks exhibit and tour was a great opportunity for a photo shoot!
White is one of my most enjoyable things to paint. The glow of color that’s reflected is breathtaking!
This is one of the paintings that will be featured at “Nature’s Design” show at Galleries West, in Jackson Hole.
I have been working on a few larger paintings, here is one of them. I will be posting more soon.
It might not look like spring outside, but at least I can sketch something from a warmer time. This is a rough pencil sketch of a Lilly.
