This is a new miniature that I didn’t realize I hadn’t posted here on the blog yet. It’s a painting of a Roseate Spoonbill preening. I really thought that I could paint in a lot of mood in this piece – it’s what drew me to the subject. The sketch that I made for the painting is at the bottom of this post. The painting is still in progress. :D
