Nature References

Some people find it interesting that I (or other artists in my family) will bring twigs, sticks, grass, rocks, leaves, logs, etc. into the studio to paint from life - so I thought that some of you may like to see the log, in my studio, for the fox paintings that I'm working on (it, and the other sections of trees that I gathered for this project, are being returned to the "wild" when the paintings are completed) ;) .

Beautiful work! I love the log- it reminds me of the woods in Northern Michigan- just spent 4 days there in an old growth forest full of white pine, oak and sugar maple.

    Beautiful work BTW!

  4. And I thought I was the only artist that had to chase bugs off my easel!
…. really don’t appreciate the earthworms crawling from the moss though… oh well.
    Beautiful art BTW ;0)
