I have been painting on my canadian goose today. I’d post another photo of the goose in progress, but I think most visitors to my blog wouldn’t be able to tell what I’ve worked on. :?
The picture I did include in this post (right) is a hummingbird sketch from my sketchbook. :)
It has been so interesting conversing with the various fine art societies and our British colleagues with our recent art exhibitions and shows in the UK/England.
Here is how my painting of miniature irises are progressing. I think they are going fairly well. :) I am thinking of adding some wildlife to the painting also. We’ll see….. ;)
This is a small thumbnail sketch (made in graphite) for a new watercolor miniature I’m starting to work on today. Each blossom in the painting is 1 inch or smaller per the 1/6th scale rule for miniature paintings. :)
I just finished this miniature painting today. The piece has been in my studio for a little while. I came up with a few new ideas for it while painting my last mute swan piece.
I am starting a new mute swan painting today, so I’m including a small thumbnail sized sketch in today’s post. The new painting will be about 7×9 inches, more of a miniature piece.
