Today we attended the Wyoming Junior Duck Stamp ceremony, and earlier we gave a workshop for some of the winning students at the National Museum of Wildlife Art (www.wildlifeart.org). It’s so exciting to see these young artists doing so well — some of their work is just amazing. They are very talented kids. I hope they all continue in the future. Thanks to Jane Lavino for her hard work in setting up the event!!
We also just dropped off some fresh work at Galleries West Fine Art in Jackson (www.gallerieswestjacksonhole.com). I have six new pieces.
We just got into Jackson today. I set up a "studio" in my hotel room. I actually got quite a bit done on the painting (16×20 fox painting) tonight. I hope to have the painting finished soon — it’s coming along pretty well.

I just finished this new miniature piece of a young gray wolf. It’s taken me about 2 to 2-1/2 days to finish the painting. The painting will be available for purchase through our gallery in Jackson Hole, Wyoming — Galleries West Fine Art (www.gallerieswestjacksonhole.com).
I just sent off artwork to the Arts for the Parks exhibit in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (www.artsfortheparks.com). It’s a slightly different subject for me. I really enjoyed painting the foliage around the bird. :)
I just finished this new hummingbird and Indian Paintbrush painting. I am finishing up on a number of new pieces to give some of my galleries a new selection — this one will go to Galleries West Fine Art in Jackson Hole, WY (www.gallerieswestjacksonhole.com). Stop in if you’re in the area.
Thanks to everyone at Art Barbarians Wildlife Gallery in Rogers, MN (www.artbarbarians.com) for their hard work putting together the annual cruise on the Saint Croix River.
